NEWS: DAVCOR APPOINTED AS MAIN DISTRIBUTOR FOR CODELOCKS IN AUSTRALIA

February 12th 2010 - Leading distributor of security and hardware products, Lock and Key Co., has recently been granted distribution rights in Australia for the complete range of Codelocks access control systems. Lock and Key Co is part of Davcor Group Pty. Ltd, one of Australia’s major locksmith supply merchants and a recognised leader and innovator in the industry. Commenting on the new partnership, Marc Cohen, CEO at Davcor said, “The relationship we have with Codelocks is fantastic with the biggest benefit being that we have access to a complete range of Codelocks products and now have a lock for almost every application. We deal with over 100 suppliers both locally and internationally and Codelocks is one of the easiest to deal with which comes down to the simple fact that we both want the relationship to succeed.”

As a distributor of a large variety of security and locking products, Lock and Key Co. worked closely with Codelocks engineers to customise the products to suit the various applications in the Australian market. This involved slight changes to the Codelock keyway, the overall products as well as the development of new mounting and fixing plates. Marc Cohen commented, “ Whilst this process was involved it seemed effortless as everyone wanted to make sure products for our market place had a real difference to ensure our clients are happy to use our products and that they become successful.  The response to the range has been extremely good.”

The partnership has already led to a number of key projects including the use of Codelocks products in one of the most widely recognised architectural and cultural buildings in Sydney.

Codelocks’ range of mechanical and electrical locks provide solutions for a wide range of commercial and domestic door control applications including schools, hospitals and local authorities by giving greater control of access on multiple doors.
