External Door Locks

Codelocks access control locks can be used on varying external doors.



Mechanical

The CL500 Lock Range is particularily suited for external door. The CL500 Lock Range also includes a panic kit option that allows it to work with most single point panic pads or bars fitted to exit doors.

The lower level mechanical locks, CL200 Lock Range and CL400 Lock Range can be used on sheds, gates and store room doors.

Electronic

The electronic lock ranges are suitable for external doors – CL2000 Locks, CL4000 Locks and CL5000 Locks. We always recommend that these locks are sheltered outdoors and from extreme or adverse weather.

Aftercare

It is strongly recommended to undertake a regular maintenance schedule and wipe the outer surface of all Codelocks products fitted externally with a silicone based spray to help keep the products clean and encourage the displacement of water. DO NOT use oil based lubricants as these will attract dirt.

All of our external lock ranges have a PVD coating (physical vapour deposition). This is a vaporisation coating technique. The main benefit of this coating is improved hardness and wear resistance for the lock.
