Estates and Facilities managers have a huge responsibility as hospitals and healthcare facilities are at constant risk from violence, vandalism and theft. This has a huge impact on staff, patients, medicines and expensive medical equipment. Our locks provide quick and easy access, controlling traffic and enabling staff to limit areas from the public. There are many situations that Codelocks Mechanical and Electronic door control products can be used.
Main doors on hospital premises can be installed with a lock to stop visitors walking into the main area. We would suggest either a mechanical CL500 lock or for quick change of code via the keypad a CL600 mechanical lock or CL5000 electronic lock. The electronic range has the advantage of remote release from a reception area and alarm release.
Access can be controlled on wards and special units which not only help with high volume traffic but also to fight the spread of infectious diseases. CL500 locks, CL600 locks, CL4000 locks and CL5000 locks are used in these higher traffic areas. IT areas, nurse’s stations and staff rooms can be controlled with Codelocks stand alone door locks. Please view these lock ranges CL400, CL500, CL600, CL2000 and CL4000.
Medicines can be protected and controlled by various Codelocks depending on the door. Hospitals are buying the CL1000 Cabinet Lock or CL1200 Cabinet Lock for simple, quick, keyless access. This lock is also being used on patient’s bedside cabinets and cupboards.
