5th July 2011 – Codelocks, a leading manufacturer of standalone access control products, announces its first electronic push-button door lock designed specifically for glass doors. The stylish medium-duty patch door lock gives the user a convenient access control solution without the use of keys.
“We developed this product as a direct response to customer demand. Organisations spend a lot of money fitting out their buildings with stylish glass interiors, but still want to deter unauthorised entry in certain areas,” explained Grant Macdonald, Managing Director, Codelocks. “Now they don’t need to compromise on style over functionality, as our new lock acts as a convenient standalone solution to access control and doesn’t look out of place in smart modern buildings.”
The CL4000GD lock is designed primarily for use on internal glass doors, and will easily fit new installations or can be quickly retro fitted. The glass door lock fits existing Rondo type glass door preparations. Each lock has a latch and full size lever handles.
