How to set up, program and install the CL5000AT and Audit Trail Kit

Whether you are thinking about buying the new CL5000 with Audit Trail or upgrading an existing CL5000 electronic lock with the Audit Trail Kit, then this blog post is for you.

Our new audit trail feature makes it much easier for you to control and monitor door access, saving you a great deal of time if you've got multiple digital locks to manage. The data management software that accompanies the new product allows you to program up to 999 of our locks using a PC.

How to Set Up

In order to do this, you must first configure the locks, install the software and activate your USB stick. To help with this process we've put together a step-by-step video guide. Follow each step and you'll see how easy it is to manage and program your lock settings. Once operational you can use the software to allocate time-sensitive access codes for individual users and copy lock settings from one lock to another.

Those with CL5000 electronic door locks already installed can simply buy the Audit Trail Kit. To upgrade the lock you'll need to take if off the door, install the new PCB, and connect the data transfer cable and USB connector.

If you have any further questions on either of the products or if you need additional help with the installation and set up, please call our technical support department on 01635 239645.

It may also interest you to know that in 2014 we'll be running training courses that look at this product in much more detail. To register interest in this training course, please email [email protected] and we'll keep you posted.
