Codelocks launches new mechanical lock with auto scrambling function

Codelocks announces the addition of a new mechanical lock to its KitLock by Codelocks range. The KL20 is a robust coded lock that has auto scramble functionality for quick, convenient and secure access.

Ideal for the education sector and businesses that accommodate a high turnover of users, the KL20 can be easily mounted either horizontally or vertically to lockers, cabinets and cupboards. Keyless access eliminates keys being misplaced or stolen, and minimises time and cost spent managing access.

Designed with simplicity in mind, students, office workers, teachers and cleaning staff can access personal belongings and equipment with ease by using a personal four-digit code. The four-wheel code combination allows users to change personal codes at any time. The code retrieval function allows a code to be recovered should it be forgotten or emergency access is required.

The KL20’s auto scramble function offers added security, giving the user peace of mind. When the KL20 is locked or unlocked, the dial automatically resets to zeros, ensuring that the code cannot be inadvertently viewed.

Colin Campbell, managing director at Codelocks said,

“The KL20 is a great addition to the KitLock range, providing an affordable access control solution. The lock is designed to support private function settings that experience high traffic, so it is ideal for lockers and cupboards in offices, securing away valuable equipment in cabinets and for lockers in schools and staffrooms.”

Providing keyless access for a variety of indoor storage the KL20 is the perfect option for schools, colleges and offices looking for a low maintenance, durable and cost-effective access control solution.
