Our customer service gets us noticed and nominated

Over the last few years, we’ve won quite a few awards for the quality of our products. Last year we won the Spaces4Learning New Product Award, and Security Today gave us New Product of the Year for 2021 and 2022. 

But this year, it’s our excellent customer service that has secured us a nomination. As part of the 42nd Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) Education Awards ceremony, we’re in the running for two of the inaugural GAI Community Awards being presented on November 17 at the Oval cricket ground. There are five GAI Community Awards celebrating individuals and businesses throughout the industry, and Codelocks has been nominated for two, including for Customer Focus:


‘For individuals, businesses or teams that have gone the extra mile to deliver excellence in customer service’ 

As an organisation we’re delighted to receive the recognition of bodies like the GAI. One of our core values is putting our customers first. So, to be nominated for going the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service is a reminder that Codelocks is living up to its core values.

But for us, getting awards aren’t the only wins. When we put our customers first, giving them the solutions they need always counts as a win. Recently a customer told us that always answering the phone, looking after our customers, and providing excellent products is why they continue to recommend us, and why they’ll always use Codelocks. For us, that’s a win.

Another customer recently shared that having used our locks in the past, if they’ve got an issue with a lock of any make or style, they come straight to us for help, knowing our technical support team can help with almost any problem. In our books, that’s another win.

The countdown to the 42nd GAI Education Awards has begun. We’re looking forward to the event and meeting all the other GAI Community Award finalists. Winners will be announced 17 November – check back then.
